Fillers (Scales/Volumetric/Auger) are
typically 8'-15' off the ground and need some type of
mechanism to feed product to them. The Feed Conveyor is
the machine that performs this function. Simple units will
convey product from the floor up to the hopper, others
might bring product into the filler with a feed screw or from
a surge hopper. We have chosen to limit our offering to
simpler systems. Feeding systems that we offer are:
Incline Conveyors and Bucket Conveyors

Bucket Conveyors - Bucket conveyors are similar to incline conveyors except that they can convey product straight up (90 degrees). This provides some opportunities when space constraints are tight. However, they are typically more expensive and have more moving parts since each bucket moves independently.

Incline Conveyor - This type of feed conveyor offers a simple yet flexible way to transport product to a scale (or any overhead area). There are many different ways to design and build these types of conveyors and many factors must be considered when specifying systems.
