Hints:
Rule of thumb -
- One person can fill and seal about 10-15 bags per minute, if using an automatic filler and a continuous sealer.
- One person can fill and seal 2-5 bpm using an impulse sealer.
- This person can be eliminated if you use an automatic bag handling machine (still, some sort of supervision will be needed).
Note: At least one other person will be needed to sustain these speeds (this person will need to continuously replenish the hopper of the filler and case pack/palletize the products).
These are ONLY estimates. And please remember, that as the bag fill size increases, the output (bags per minute) decreases.
